New Frank Lloyd Wright Debuts by Steelcase

The dog days of summer are dwindling, and slowly but surely, the design world is starting to turn its attention to the cooler seasons ahead. From a rustic Regency-style sofa to a kaleidoscopic garden-themed wallcovering, here are some of our favorite looks among the latest round of launches.

Steelcase dropped two new collections in collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. The first, Rockford, reintroduces a trio of furnishings originally used in the architect’s wheelchair-accessible 1952 Laurent House, including a spindled lounge chair with a grabbable back rail; a raised ottoman; and a polygonal side table that can be approached from any angle. The second, Galesburg, pays tribute to Wright’s built-in banquette designs and offers a sofa, sectional, lounge chair and ottoman punctuated by rectilinear platform bases.
