Kith is proud to announce its official partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation–the New Balance Made in USA 998 – Broadacre City, a silhouette celebrating its 35th anniversary and Wright’s revered architectural sketches. The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, named after the visionary architect, aims to inspires discovery and an appreciation for an architecture for better living through meaningful connections to nature, the arts, and each other. The Foundation is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona at Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s last winter home and studio. The campaign is shot on location and features Taliesin West staff members.
The Ronnie Fieg & Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation for New Balance Made in USA 998 – Broadacre City features a classic mesh upper, alongside pigskin suede & hairy suede overlay panels, adding a varied sense of texture to the design. The model is offered in two unique colorways, highlighting creamy white alongside earthy brick red, warm apricot, and olive green–hues puled from the architectural sketches and models of Wright’s futuristic city concept, Broadacre City.
The in-app exclusive drawing for the Ronnie Fieg & Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation for New Balance Made in USA 998 – Broadacre City will open Friday, 4/14 at 9AM EST/CET and closes Sunday, 4/16 at 11:59PM EST/CET. Drawing winners will be selected and charged Monday, 4/17 at 9AM EST/CET. The model will also release Friday, 4/14 exclusively in-store at Kith Tokyo, where Ronnie will sign pairs for the first 25 customers. The second release is on Saturday, 4/15 through the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation at a pop-up in the Cabaret Theater inside Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona.
